The Family Solutions Collaborative is made up of many local agencies and organizations serving families in Colorado Springs and El Paso County.

BENEFITS IN ACTION
Mission: Benefits in Action’s mission is to help Colorado’s diverse community, especially the elderly and underserved, access health and food-related benefits. The organization’s goal is to improve the health, well-being, and food security of its community members.
Services: Professional Navigators help and assist with the complex benefits system and identifying what clients qualify for. Assistance with Medicaid, Medicare, Connect for Health Colorado, and OmniSalud applications. Mental wellness services to help clients where they are at.
Resources: Some food delivery services in the Denver metro area.
Population Served/ Special Requirements: Anyone seeking support with government benefits.

CASA (COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES)
Mission: CASA of the Pikes Peak Region is a nonprofit organization that trains and supervises volunteers to represent the best interests of victims of child abuse, neglect, and severe domestic conflict. CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to be a voice for these children in court and in the community.
Services: Children and Families in Transition (C-FIT) educates divorcing parents on the effects of divorce on children. In the Dependency and Neglect Program, volunteers advocate for children in the court system. The Supervised Exchange & Parenting Time program recruits volunteers to facilitate court-ordered parent child visits
Resources: The Milton Foster Children’s Fund (MFCF) helps foster children where there are gaps in available funding, and also oversees The Hanger, a store where foster teens can shop for donated clothes and accessories, free of charge.
Population Served/ Special Requirements: Children who have been victims of abuse, neglect, domestic violence, or high conflict custody disputes in El Paso and Teller Counties.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES
Mission: We transform lives through relationships that build individual resiliency and thriving communities. Catholic Charities provides help and creates hope for people who are poor and vulnerable in our area through the efforts of a wide range of programs and services.

CENTRO DE LA FAMILIA
Mission: Centro bridges language and cultural gaps, offering behavioral health and Advocacy services to the Hispanic/Latino communities in southern Colorado. We provide access to vital resources, alleviate hardships, and amplify our collective voice.
Services: Referrals to community agencies for food, clothing, housing and rental assistance, translation services, etc. Addressing clients’ mental health through support groups and arranging therapy, either at Centro or with Spanish speaking mental health providers in the Colorado Springs community, is another important area of service Centro provides.
Resources: Our Advocates help clients in solving issues they face, primarily due to the language and cultural barriers. This process starts with providing clients with a listening ear in order to determine what referral services they and their families require. An Advocate can additionally provide translation of documents as well as accompany clients to hearings and other meetings. Our different support groups provide clients an opportunity to address mental health concerns. Centro also supports the mental health concerns of our clients by arranging counseling/therapy services.
Population Served/ Special Requirements: Centro serves the Spanish speaking community of Colorado Springs including families, groups, and individuals.

THE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL COLORADO
Mission: To improve the health of children through the provision of high-quality, coordinated programs of patient care, education, research and advocacy.
Description of Program: Children’s Hospital Colorado has a team of Family Health Navigators and Social Workers that help families access community resources and break down barriers to care along with assisting with basic needs. 
Services: We provide comprehensive care for children, including medical, physical, and mental. Our navigators and social workers strive to provide individualized care and service for the different needs that a family might be experiencing. 
Resources: We rely on the generosity of community resources to provide them to families. We have contacts in the community that we can reach out to and provide a direct contact for assistance at Children’s Hospital Colorado. 
Population Served/ Special Requirements: The team of navigators and social workers will help children and their families in Southern Colorado and surrounding regions. If a family wishes to speak with us during a medical appointment, all they need to do is ask. 

COLORADO LEGAL SERVICES
Mission: Legal help for low-income Coloradans seeking assistance with civil legal needs
Services: CLS may be able to help with the following cases- Family law: civil protection orders, divorce, custody, guardianship and others; Consumer/debt problems, including bankruptcy, garnishment, collection, repossession and others; Housing law, including foreclosures in some but not all CLS offices, evictions, landlord/tenant issues and others; Issues for seniors, including living wills, medical durable powers of attorney, and more; Issues for seniors, including living wills, medical durable powers of attorney, and more; Problems with programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SSI, and other government benefits; Tax controversies with the IRS, including Tax Court litigation, IRS exams and audits, IRS appeals, identity theft/tax preparer fraud, liens and levies, collection alternatives (installment agreements, offers in compromise, economic hardship issues), earned income tax credit denials, innocent spouse relief, underreported/disputed income, and cancellation of debt income; Other civil (not criminal or traffic) problems; and Immigration: we can help citizens and those who are (1) present in the U.S. and (2) have an acceptable “category” of immigration. These categories are complicated and assessed on a case-by-case basis, but include Lawful Permanent Residents and Asylees, among other categories.

Some CLS offices help seniors 60 and over regardless of income, but only if your legal problem falls within CLS priorities and if financial and staffing resources are available.

COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEFENSE PROJECT
Mission: We partner with low-income and working people to build economic and racial equity. We do this by confronting economic abuse and investing in community wealth. We use an ever-evolving set of legal, economic and advocacy tools to challenge and dismantle unjust systems, building quickly towards a world where all people have what they need to live and thrive.

Population Served/ Special Requirements: Renters facing eviction, homeowners and mobile homeowners. ERAP: Must have court summons, 80% AMI or under, not received assistance within the past year, capped at $10k total assistance. EMAP: Must be the homeowner, primary residence, 150% AMI or under, non-jumbo loan, one time assistance only. 

CPCD (Community Partnership for Childhood Development)
Mission: To prepare children for success in school and in life by providing excellent comprehensive early childhood services in partnership with diverse families and the community.
Services: Head Start is our largest and best known program. Through this program, CPCD provides educational, physical and behavioral health, and nutritional services for children 3 to 5 years of age. Families receive education and support to assist them in fulfilling their role as their child’s first and best teacher. Families in Colorado can receive at least 15 hours per week of free, voluntary preschool for 4-year-olds through the Universal Preschool (UPK) Colorado program. 3-year-olds with qualifying factors are eligible for 10 free hours per week.  Some families can add this on to Head Start for full day school and child care.  At CPCD, children and families in UPK receive many of the same services offered for Head Start families such as health screenings and family support. Early Head Start serves pregnant women and children ages birth to 3. This program serves to enhance the development of very young children while promoting healthy family functioning and school readiness.

CRISALIDA
Description: Crisálida’s short-term and long-term objectives are to connect persons of color with community resources (legal, medical, dental, occupational, educational, social) while attending to their immediate existential needs (housing, food, transportation) and psychological needs (trauma-informed, culturally responsive counseling, peer coaching, and recovery maintenance support).  Individuals and families heal and become meaningful and valuable members of their communities when given the opportunity and resources to address the trauma and abuse they have experienced. 
Services: Case/care management, individualized service planning, trauma responsive services, culturally responsive services, bilingual (Spanish) services, in-person & virtual services, mental health concerns, substance use disorders, peer mentoring and coaching, LGBTQAI+ support, intensive outpatient programs, individual counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, group counseling, support groups, faith based groups.

COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES- COLORADO WORKS
Description: Colorado Works is Colorado’s Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program. When you join Colorado Works, you can get help with a monthly cash payment, schooling, training, jobs and much more.

Population Served/ Special Requirements: Colorado Works is available to families with children in the home. In some cases, children not living with their parents can participate. You can apply for the program if: you are pregnant or taking care of a child under 18 years old, you live in Colorado, you are a citizen of the United States, a legal alien, a refugee, or a permanent resident, your family income is less than $75,000 per year.

COLORADO SPRINGS DISTRICT 11- NORTH MIDDLE SCHOOL- COMMUNITY LIAISON
Description: Community Liaison – Connection between the school and community to help provide supports to families and enhance the student’s educational experience.
Services: Community Liaisons help provide resources to the school, parents, and students by building connections in the community.
Resources: I can often provide direct resources to students such as school supplies, but generally it is accessing the needs of the supports needed by the parent, student, or school and providing guidance or direction based on needs.

DREAM CENTERS / MARY’S HOME
Description: A long-term residential program offering high-challenge and supportive trauma-informed services to single-mother-led families exiting homelessness.
Services: Mary’s Home is a safe haven for women and children escaping cycles of poverty, abuse and homelessness in Colorado Springs. We offer transformational education and coaching for single mothers seeking to build a stable life and career. We form lasting bonds with the women we serve, offering a healing environment, supportive journey, and a pathway to professional success. Our cross-generational and holistic approach helps women and their children develop critical learning and coping skills so they can grow and thrive.

EL PASO COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH – CARE COORDINATION
Description of Agency: Care Coordinator assisting individuals in need with resource navigation.
Services: Care Coordination supports for those needing more supportive assistance, and general resource navigation for those not needing the full blown care coordination assistance.
Resources: We assist to find the answers and resources for anyone’s questions and needs. There is no limitation to what type of needs we will assist with.
Population Served/ Special Requirements: All (anyone and everyone). Zero barrier access with no requirements.

EL PASO COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH – MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH PROGRAM (MCH)
Description of Agency: Resources for children with special health care needs.
Services: We serve El Paso County children and youth with special health care needs from birth to 21 years old. We also work with families who have concerns about child’s health and wellbeing, child does not have to have a special healthcare need or medical diagnosis to work with us.
Resources: We provide FREE resource navigation regardless of child’s insurance, income, or diagnosis; no referral is required. We help connect families with resources and information for therapies, evaluations, medical providers, medical insurance including Medicaid Waivers, childcare/respite care, and basic needs (food, utility assistance, transportation).
Population Served/ Special Requirements: El Paso County children and youth with special health care needs from birth to 21 years old, plus families with concerns about child’s health and wellbeing.

FAMILY LIFE SERVICES
Description of Organization: Families Building Futures is our two-year transitional housing program. Moms work a leveled program within our community to better prepare them to be stable heads of their households, equipped to meet their family’s challenges. Weekly meetings of moms on campus to build community while their children have a program too. Weekly meetings with their Resident Program Coordinator to assess and help meet their goals.
Services: Women of Courage is our non-residential program for moms and their children to meet monthly for support and transformation. Mentorship is also available.

Population Served/ Special Requirements: Single moms and their kids. Requirements for both programs include 6 months sobriety, complete a background check, references, and a willingness to work a program for the betterment of their lives and family.

FAMILY PROMISE
Description of Agency: FPCOS provides temporary shelter to unhoused families.
Services: Case Management, Psychotherapy, Financial Advisement
Resources: IHN Shelter Program – A rotational shelter program for families. Prevention Programs – Provide rental and utility assistance to families.
Population Served/ Special Requirements: Must have a dependent minor (under 18). No history of violent crimes. Commit to sobriety.

FORGE EVOLUTION
Mission: Forge Evolution empowers youth to develop resiliency through inspiration, accountability, and connection to create a stronger community. 
Services: Teen Court- Our original youth-led, youth-focused court program for youth in our community. Forge Evolution- A full range of life skills and peer group programs to build strong, confident youth.

GRECCIO HOUSING
Description: Greccio is a community housing development organization in Colorado Springs that provides stable, safe, and affordable housing, offers resources for residents to achieve stability, and promotes solutions to the affordable housing needs of our community.  
Services: Greccio currently serves nearly 1,000 residents per year through properties across Colorado Springs and Teller County. Beyond providing affordable housing to lower their cost of living, we offer access to a variety of services, guidance, community events, educational workshops, and ongoing assistance that helps on their path toward self-sufficiency and financial independence. Through Greccio Commercial, we are also able to offer property management services.

HIRE HEROES USA
Description of Agency: We are an employment based organization, but realize there are additional barriers to this population. We attack the most prevalent barrier first.
Services: We provide any tools to assist with a client securing employment. Resumes, interview prep, LinkedIn reviews, job sourcing, etc.

HOMEWARD PIKES PEAK
Mission: Homeward Pikes Peak empowers individuals and families to access stable housing, increase mental health, recovery, and economic stability.

ITHAKA HOUSING
Description of Agency: We provide (Transitional Housing for all programs) for low-income families, men leaving incarceration and seniors 55+ in age. Ithaka provides case management for all three populations

Resources: Each resource is targeted towards what each person needs and the goals that they have created. We work with diverse populations and connect with many local communities and agencies to provide and educate the populations we serve.
Population Served/ Special Requirements: Senior 55+ homeless, Men released from incarceration, Homeless Families. Seniors must be 55+ years old to apply for housing assistance and homeless, Men must be justice involved or have had justice involvement the past, and families can be both father and mother or single parents that are experiencing homelessness, willing and able to work and participant in case management.

JOINT INITIATIVES FOR YOUTH + FAMILIES
Mission: Joint Initiatives is a nonprofit organization that brings together agencies and systems that serve children and youth to drive collective impact and ensure higher-impact services for young people (0-21) and their families in the Pikes Peak Region.
Services: JI houses a Juvenile Assessment Center (JAC), which provides wraparound support for youth and families and co-locates partners. Services will include medical, dental, vision, mental health, family support, Individualized Service and Support Team (ISST) meetings, care coordination, tutoring, mentoring, and MORE! JI’s Foundations program supports the early childhood workforce, early childhood education programs, and families with young children. Services include career navigation, support to open a child care business, quality improvement support for programs, professional development, resource navigation for families, and assistance with Colorado’s Universal Preschool Program.

KINGDOM BUILDERS
Mission:
We are committed to changing the narrative for BIPOC individuals, Men, Children and Young Adults in marginalized communities who have been historically impacted by Domestic/Intimate Partner and or Sexual Violence
Services: My Brother’s/Sister’s Keeper – Adult program for those impacted by Domestic & Sexual Violence, Project Right Direction (our youth program), and Donnis Martin Memorial Housing which includes our Safehouse, Transitional Housing, Rapid Rehousing program.
Resources: Training, partnerships with many community resources, funding for different needs (transportation, car seats, food, housing, utilities, etc.) all dependent on being impacted by Domestic or Sexual Violence

THE LIGHTHOUSE CHILD CARE AND EDUCATION
Mission:
Services: The Lighthouse integrates social, emotional, physical, imaginative, and cognitive learning experiences into the everyday routine for toddler, preschool, and before and after school programs.

LUTHERAN FAMILY SERVICESKPC FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER
Description of Organization: We are a short term, temporary child care center that helps families receive a break, secure basic needs, look for work, attend work etc. when there are no other safe options for guardians.
Services: We provide case management services for the whole family and offer therapeutic services such as play therapy and group therapy.

Population Served/ Special Requirements: We primarily serve children ages 0-6, however, if there is a sibling/other child in the home that is between that age, then we can see up to age 12. To utilize our child care, the children need to be within the ages of 0-6 (or as described above up to age 12), and we take special/medical/behavioral needs on a case-by-case basis to ensure the center is a good fit for any specific needs.

MISSION POSSIBLE
Description: Mission Possible is a private nonprofit 501(c) 3 agency that is located in the Pikes Peak Region, currently serving youth and families in six counties throughout Colorado. Mission Possible is the Senate Bill 94 (SB94) provider for El Paso, Teller, Fremont, Custer, Park and Chafee Counties. Mission Possible prides itself in being a detention alternative program, specifically supporting families of youth involved in the juvenile justice system.

NURSE FAMILY PARTNERSHIP
Mission: Positively transforming the lives of babies, mothers and families.
Description: Nurse-Family Partnership empowers first-time moms to transform their lives and create better futures for themselves and their babies. Watch our short video to learn about our program directly from families, NFP nurses, Dr. Olds and other advocates.
Services: Improve pregnancy outcomes by partnering with moms to engage in good preventive health practices, including thorough prenatal care from their healthcare providers, improving their diets and reducing any use of habit-forming substances; improve child health and development by assisting families to provide responsible and competent care; and improve the economic self-sufficiency of the family by supporting parents to develop a vision for their own future, plan additional pregnancies, continue their education and find work.

PIKES PEAK WORKFORCE CENTER
Description: The Pikes Peak Workforce Center connects vital businesses with work-ready job seekers and employer-driven services. We help residents of El Paso & Teller Counties with career transition, whether they are unemployed, underemployed, or employed.
Services:
Resources: We host the largest virtual and in-person job fairs in Southern Colorado as well as weekly hiring events. 
Population Served/ Special Requirements: Our clients range from entry-level to professional, including youth, adults, people returning to the workforce, and those with barriers to employment. We provide job search and training opportunities, including 20 different job seeker workshops at no cost. 

PROJECT DIAKONIA
Mission: Project Diakonia empowers underserved youth, ages 16-24, through vocational training and education, paving the way for them to transform their lives.
Services: We help youth transitioning out of foster care and the juvenile justice system prepare for jobs in industries that offer a livable wage, a progressive wage, and a professional work environment. Having someone believe in and look out for you is sometimes all it takes. Our staff provides the support needed to succeed and the resources needed to thrive. Employment alone does not make for a sustainable transition into adulthood. That’s why we assist youth in attaining stable housing and provide mentorship throughout their transition.

SAFE FAMILIES FOR CHILDREN
Mission: We create extended family–like supports for desperate families through a community of devoted volunteers who are motivated by faith to keep children safe and keep families intact. 
Description: We offer compassionate community to families facing a crisis. Keeping children safe and families together.
Services: Temporary hosting for children, relational support for parents, coaching, connection to community resources.

Population Served/ Special Requirements: Families with children facing an unimaginable crisis: homelessness, joblessness, hospitalization, addiction recovery needing temporary hosting for their children or a safe friend for the parent while the parents get back on their feet. Parents who want to keep their family together but need temporary, family-like support through a crisis.

SALVATION ARMY- RJ MONTGOMERY FAMILY HOPE CENTER
Mission: The RJ Montgomery Family Hope Center provides shelter and feeds families experiencing homelessness in a clean and safe environment to begin rebuilding hope.
Services: The shelter services include dinner, informal breakfast, and caseworkers who help clients establish life skills, employment and path to self-sufficiency.
Resources: Temporary shelter and food for families experiencing homelessness.
Population Served/ Special Requirements: Families, all ages, families with children, homeless, limited english.

SOLID ROCK
Mission: By fostering innovative community collaboration, we aim to transform Southeast Colorado Springs into a vibrant destination for both housing and business development.
Services: Solid Rock offers housing diversity advocacy and development, small business support, facilitating healthy community connections, and policy advocacy within the community and state.
Resources: Community Food Center for residents, and free farmers’ markets in the summer and the monthly drive-through on the second Friday of each month, from 3 p.m. until food runs out.

TESSA
Description of Organization: TESSA provides confidential, trauma informed support and services to individuals impacted by DVSASHT.
Services: 24-hour Safeline: Confidential support available 24/7. Safehouse: Secure, confidential emergency shelter. Housing First Program: Rental assistance to help survivors find and maintain safe, stable housing. Legal Program (Project Lift): Support with Temporary/Permanent Protection Orders (TPO/PPO) and family law assistance. Clinical Program: Individual and group therapy for adults and children, addressing trauma and healing. Main Office Walk-In Support: Advocacy, safety planning, and resource navigation for immediate assistance. Hospital Advocacy: On-site support at Memorial Central and other hospital locations, offering advocacy, safety planning, and resource navigation. Youth and Children’s Program: Activities such as field trips, summer camps, and holiday events to support youth affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, with additional resource navigation alongside parents. Outreach and Education: Prevention programs in local schools and partnerships with community organizations to raise awareness and provide training on domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Rural Program: Comprehensive services extended to Eastern El Paso and Teller Counties.
Resources: Safehouse, rental assistance, no cost legal services, no cost therapy, basic necessities- toiletries and clothing.
Population Served/ Special Requirements: Victim/Survivors of domestic violence/intimate partner violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking. Services are provided for children of these individuals as well. All clients must be victim/survivors or dependents of victim/survivors of DVSASHT. All services are confidential as protected by state statute, trauma informed and client driven.

THE RESOURCE EXCHANGE
Mission: Empowering people. Strengthening Families. Building Inclusive Communities.
Services: TRE partners with children and adults who have a variety of disabilities, delays, mental health or long-term care needs.

Population Served/ Special Requirements: We work with people throughout the course of their lives, supporting them from birth, before school, through school, and as adults and seniors.

WESTSIDE CARES
Mission: To provide care and compassion to our neighbors in need.
Services: Westside CARES is a nonprofit collaboration of 22 interfaith communities in El Paso County, united in care and compassion for those in need by providing crisis human services.
Resources: Westside CARES collaborates with agencies throughout the metropolitan area to ensure its neighbors receive adequate crisis intervention services. The goal is an interdependent and complementary network of services between providers.
Population Served/ Special Requirements: The only criteria for accessing services is an individual’s or family’s genuine need and their established residence within the agency’s service area.

WOMEN PARTNERING
Mission: Empowering financially vulnerable women and their children by addressing their overall health through holistic goals, support, community resources and tools learned to achieve financial stability and improve their well being.
Services: Community Resource Navigation-resources for health, housing, education, work, mental health, support, and what brings meaning to your life. For our Partners (women working on holistic goals): Wellness Group to learn self care, Women’s Group to build friendships, create art & have fun, Enrichment Program Learn about organizations and skills,  JOI Club/Kids Program-Create community service projects while building leadership and communication skills.  
Resources: Long term support, Budgeting, Rent Assistance, Bus Vouchers, Goodwill Vouchers, Digital Equity Program learn how to use a laptop and earn one, teach tools to self advocate. For women experiencing domestic violence and need to leave their home, assist with 3 day hotel vouchers.
Population Served/ Special Requirements: All Financially Vulnerable Women (age 18 and up ) and their children. Must be a female age 18 and up for Resource Navigation. All women are welcome. Must be a Partner working on an Individual Development Plan (creating holistic goals) and meet with a Woman Navigator every 4 to 6 six or as needed to receive services beyond resource navigation.

With a deep respect for each person’s inherent worth, potential, and desire for self-sufficiency, Working Fusion offers compassionate guidance, tenacious encouragement, and caring accountability.
